Forged Piston Ring Gap
i just got my IB spec wiseco 's, had machine shop bore&hone. gettin ready to do ring gapping.
from reading these posts....

they both are using ring gaps in the .016-.019" range...but they are also using cp's (bodykitnw using 84.5mm, boosted using 81.5mm) i know the bore affects the gap you should be running...
according to my ibspec's it says bore (85mm) x .004"= ring gap, when i do that it says to gap .013", but then it says gap will vary depending on applications, high hp etc.
and from the searches ive done ppl seem to recommend in the .016-.019
also wanted to know how gap affects power? reliability? how about differn gaps between the 1st ring and 2nd ring?
thanks!
