FMU Missing parts??
hey
I bought a used Vortech FMU off ebay, apparrently the guy that sold it to me didn't say it was missing two pieces off from the FMU , what's missing is the two Brass Fittings for the Fuel lines, its located under the FMU and there two holes where the Brass fittings suppose to be. I tried checking on the Vortech site to see if they sell any spare parts for FMU, unfortunely i couldn't find any, so i thought it might nice to ask if you guys know where i can find these fittings here. also if you identify what kind brass fittings is it, that would be great

I don't know the fittings but I assume you could get them from either home depot or a mom & pop hardware store (they have everything).

(not my car, just showing for example)
The top looks like 3/8" male elbow with 1/4" barb fitting. The bottom I have no clue about.

....I still don't understand why people use FMUs. They are pieces of junk. Your injectors weren't meant to run at 70+ psi....your injectors will fail and the engine will blow

Because it Works!
Of course there are better alternatives, But not everyone cares about reliability or power....

my friend has an fmu on his itr and it has been there for 3 + years. it is an ok alternative. mustangs have been using then for ever on the vortech supercharger applications. but with the advent of todays cheap or should i say cost effective engine management systems, it makes it kind of obsolete.
the top fitting is a 1/8npt with a 90 degree barbed nipple.
the one in the center is a 1/8npt 1/4 barbed nipple
the one on the outter is a 90 degree 1/8npt 1/4 barbed nipple.
all of which should be able to be gotten from any decent auto parts store. but a hydraulics shop would definately have thaem also.
