Default FMIC Installed..Turbo DA assembly finally gets under way

I've been saving and working towards getting everything needed. As of yesterday, I finally got to start installing this stuff. The FMIC was the first step. Waiting on all my oil supply lines, u-bends and whatnot to come in. The goal is to wrap this up in 4 weeks. I'm going to be boosting the stock B16 until my B18C is finished.

Do you have a body kit or did you cut your stock bumper to get full air to the IC? got any pictures of it with the bumper on? Looks nice

Thanks...
Going to use the stock '92 bumper with the grill cut out. Working on finding some radiator paint so the FMIC doesn't stick out. Should have it cut and on the car within a couple days

looks just like mine but just not as wide. it fits under a 92-93 front bumper without much cutting.

uh, last thing i installed was the IC...

Once you start bolting all the other **** up, youl see that you should have let your ricer side of you not allow yourself to install it first.

Agreed...The IC is rather tall, but it fits well. Its not the dimensions I was originally quoted, but instead of dealing with all the crap of returning it, I kept it and will see how it works. In all honesty, its width is perfect. I plan to run 90degree bends directly in towards the car, right off the ends of the intercooler. To do that, I'm going to cut and brace part of the frame. Should make for some rather short piping if I can pull it off. The bumper was cut today and will be installed tomorrow. About 20% of the core isn't going to have direct air flow, but the way I cut the bumper should still get more than plenty of air to that 20%.... I'll have plenty of pix up tomorrow.
