FMAX or Revhard?
I have a B18c1 in my 96 hatch and am planning on going turbo. I have heard a lot of good stuff from both revhard and FMAX. What's your opinion?

Fmax killed Drag on the dyno charts. Fmax not only had a higher peak hp but had a lot more hp trought the power band

All are very nice kits, with the exception of fmax's mf2 or whatever they call it. It sucks major *****! I think your best bet is to do a custom kit. Get all the parts you want or familiar with. It may cost more but in the end you will be happy. Just ask around for the individual parts from peeps and they will tell you what they think is good. And also find a good shop to make you some nice mandrel bend piping. Here is list of stuff I think are very good.
Turbo- t3/t4oe from either innovative turbo, turbonetics or any others.
Wastegate- Tial (35mm will be good enough), HKS (make sure you get a real one, there have been fake HKS wastegates flooting around).
Intercooler - spearco, Apexi, XS Engenering.
BOV- Tial, or greddy. Basically all do the same thing and most will be good, it wil all depend on what kind of sound you like.
Manifold - This all depends on you. Do you want a better flowing, equal length manifold, but tends to crack, OR a cast iron manifold (log type) wont crack as easy (but tends to flow poorly or not as efficent). Equal lenth, tublar manifold tends to cost more then the cast iron counterparts. I would go with a tubular, equal length such as kooks, kiwi, bellaray.
FPR- Paxton, Aeromotive. Forget FMU's, don't like them!
Fuel Pump- Holly intank 255 lph or Bosch.
Did I forget anything?

Not to call any of you liars but can you show any numbers where drag or revhard beat out Fmax? If you can please show so I decide.

Re: FMAX or Revhard? (gsrhatch530)
Stock kit to stock kit, the fmax doesn't have the necessary hardware to be able to produce more hp than a drag kit.
fmax uses a straw-sized dp and retains the stock cat. drag uses a 2.5" dp and lets you decide if you wanna use a cat or not.
there is a reason that most of us in here are drag ******, its cause we've used the system, it makes great power, and is reliable.

Re: FMAX or Revhard? (Tomakit)
i agree, fmax dp sucks. too small and wg dumped right after the turbo. the mf2 hasnt given me any probs tho.
i met a guy w/ a revhard on his b18b and he said he dynoed 175 whp and 165 ft/lb @ 7 psi i think. i was kinda disappointed to hear that but i didnt ask him if it was tuned or not, and i think he had an e housing (looked a lil bigger than my b housing) so maybe the later boost and early redline hurt him too.
