Flashes when driving non stop shut car off and its gone then drive more. Easy driving and then later flashes. no codes unless it stays on. usually after flashing is done. and then the codes are 71 through 74 in no partictular order. Is anybody here a Honda Cert Tech?

that's a cylinder misfire code. You are either running too rich, or too lean. Check your spark plugs for signs of detonation or other problems with combustion. Make corrections (lowering boost, regapping plugs, adding fuel, taking away fuel) as needed. Then reset the ECU.

Im not here to scare anyone, but I have a couple of questions....

Does your car feel or sound?
Does any smoke come out of the valve cover breather?

This happend to me in the beg. of the season (April 01) on the way home from the track. The CEL started to flash while I was driving and when I shut the car off, the flashing CEL dissapears.
I pulled over to a gas station and saw smoke (white) coming out of the valve cover breather.
The next day took the motor apart and found #3 cyl. with cracked ring lands.

Just wanted to share my story, hopefully thats not the case with your cars.
