Default Flared Sleeves?

I have never heard of these, someone said that these:
http://www.goldeneaglemfg.com/sleeves.htm
were flared... however i think it looks like a block guard. someone please provide some more info for me, thanks.

not really flared. the sleeves are made with little ears that go out and touch the block. in my opinion, Golden Eagle is the best way to go when it comes to sleeving a block. no questions asked.

STILL haven't heard of a failure of those.

the tangs are there for support, preventing movement of the sleeve..just like a blockguard or posting i suppose...id call it a good blend of the both.

thanks for your help, but i already have dartons installed in my car and you are correct, i have zero problems with them I couldnt run these flared sleeves anyways since i have a closed deck set up. i was just curious on these flared sleeves because when i first saw them i thought it was a block guard, i try to learn as much as possible about anything i can

So the only difference is open deck red block , closed deck silver block? .........J/K Glad you showed pics for people to show them , you whould post a pic of a stock 92-96 H22A stock closed deck block just to compaare the difference, be aware the stock H22A closed deck the sleeves are still weak and if you caa Sleeve it like GudeH23a did.
