Default fixing weak point on honda tranny

after seeing my friends stock b16a2 tranny with 60,000 miles on it explode today on stock tires. (we had spider gears all over the track). will a kaza or quafie diff fix this problem for good? i mean if i have, better axles, and a real LSD. what would break next?

once you fix the axle and diff. problem the ring and pinion is next to go. This shouldn't be much of a problem until you are making over 500hp and running on big slicks.

A quiafe or kaaz will definitely help, but it's no garauntee. In this sport anything is liable to break But i would say the differential is definitely the weak point in honda tranny's. I've had a differential on a stock b16 tranny explode on me before, since then i've been running an S80 tranny with nothing else but a quiafe lsd and it's held up. You would need to throw a good bit of power at the tranny to break the quiafe, so the next weak point to look at from there would be axles.
