Default Fixable manifold?

Is this manifold fixable by welding the broken piece back together? Will it work properly?

i find it hard to believe that it would crack there? What type of manifold is that? From what i can tell, you should be able to reweld/fix it.

Okay, whatever that is suposed to mean, but back on topic. Why waste time with a product that has allready proven it self to crack and break. whats your price range, im sure we can find you a good manifold for the price you are looking to pay. Honestly for your own sake, dont waste your time on that.

That manifold is a heap of ****. Look at how thin the runners are.......should be sch. 40.
Buy all the goodies and make one yourself better than that one.

*edit spelling*

If you want to go with a log style manifold you can check out mcmaster carr.
They even have the 45 and 90 degree bends to make a tubluar one too.

that manifold can be repaired, but it looks like the welds are to blame here, incomplete penetration welds will do that..

As far as that pic in the avitar, i've had my turbocharger get that hot many times, and not so much as the beginnings of a crack, the trick is to keep a steel header un-wrapped for strength purposes, use supports, and good penetration welding, and 8g (schedule 40) pipe is a + too...
