Default -AN fitting/line size for Catch Can & Crankcase evacuation

For those of you with -AN lines running off the valve cover, what size fittings and line did you use? I'm going to be welding some fittings onto my valve cover very soon, and need to know what a good size would be. I'm thinking -10 AN would be a good size. Any thoughts?

Ladysman does I believe. I was thinking of using the Russell push lock or twist lock (whatever its call fittings). They're rubber hoses with an -AN connection.

You can get the line at lowes. It is reinforced line.

the reinforced hose ladysman pictured will not hold up near the turbo manifold, EVEN inside a firesleeve. Mine melted that kind of hose inside the firesleeve.

Near the turbo mani stainless line is the only way to go.

Off the back of block or valve cover, heater hose, that reinforced hose that ladysman posted, or any type of hose really is fine.

Mike is completely right. I should have noted that. Thanks Mike!

I have smelled this stuff melt and it smells like burnt bandaids.

HOw are you guys drilling the valve cover by the way? My engine came like this from Endyn. Are you putting baffles in the front? Anyone got pics?

may people will use a 1/2" NPT bung and weld it onto the valve cover...all i have done, as well as our other cars, is simply drill and tap the valve cover directly. the valve cover does have internal baffling, right where the holes are. i can try and get some pics up tonight if you would like

There is baffles there already in the front of the valvecover.

I'm not sure how my welder put the holes there.
