First time at track while boosted....need some input
Here's my setup:
2000 Honda Civic Si w/stock b16
Drag3 turbo kit
Tial wastegate with 6.5 pound spring
Hondata 2B *untuned*
RC 440s
Walbro hipressure fuel pump
Clutchmasters stage 4 clutch
Here's the disappointing part:
60' 2.375
1/8 9.683
MPH 77.43
1/4 14.845
MPH 94.37
Now I know I could improve my 60' a little, maybe some better tires. The thing thats buggin me is that when I'm cruising about 80 down the interstate my EGT is about 1300. When I was running down the track at WOT it was holding steady on 1200. Is this because I'm just dumping a shitload of fuel in my car with the untuned hondata? What kinda gains should I expect after tuning?

Re: First time at track while boosted....need some input (JMinSi2000)
why you're racing on an untuned Hondata is beyond me....
word to the wise, most base maps, unless otherwise noted, are WAY WAY off. Not even close to correct. As they say on the Hondata website, they are ok to drive on, but not to race.
Tuning will bring your et's down and your mph up considerably.
