Default First time at the track with my Car

My brother took my 00 SI SC at 8.5lb to the track last week and it he ran 14.2. He told me there was no traction. He is also a good driver. The wheel (17 inch) was spinning like crazy even though he try lauching at 3k rpm. I guess the car can do better with 15 inch tires, some drag radials, and take out the spare tire.

R/T = 1.25 (BAD)
I1 = 2.2 (60ft time)
I2 = 6.0
I3 = 9.2
I4 = 11.8

E/T = 14.2 @ 95.6

Any suggestions from you experts to improve 1/4 time at the track is appreciated.

My expert advice is to unbolt that blower and install a turbo kit.

You'll drop at least a second and gain 10mph.

whoah...I thought that you were turbocharged....

I was about to say that your traps are low as hell for almost 9lbs turbocharged

14.2 is ok I guess

You really need slicks with a JRSC to achieve great times at the track.
