Default First boosted gsr

hey as it says this would be my first boosted setup. I have been searching and not really finding what i need. Is going on a stock motor and i was thinking a full race kit or rev hard. Its goin to be a daily drive and i want atleast 300 at the wheels. Also what managment system would work best , injector size, and gagues needed. Thanks

k first of all dont do afc hack or fmu convert to obd1 if necessary and run uberdata...info at pgmfi.org get stock dsm 450 cc injectors with resistors(available at radioshak) injectors get off of junkyard eagle talon turbo, eclipse turbo, laser turbo....obd1 ecu has to be chipped....you can run p06 chipped for vtec, stock gsr chipped available at http://www.xenocron.com, p28 chipped etc as long as it is vtec and obd1 it will run any motor with the correct map burned to chip...I advise also in getting an eprom burner...off ebay the willem burner is what i use...c2956 chips available at http://www.xenocron.com...you will eventually want a wideband like a plx300 or at the least a basic aft gauge and have someone wideband tune you...(it will save your motor) basemap is not good for everyday driving.... http://www.homemadeturbo.com has lots of turbo info....and fuel management info especially uberdata,crome,turboedit....HONDATA SUCKS! run something like a t3/4 60/63,14b or anything bigger than 14b 16g is nice....t3 off volve 42.48 is too small for that motor....look at turbo compressor maps for good choices...your large 57trim/60 t3 will be excellent...or spend a lot of cash on a garrett gt series...thats pretty much it for over 300 look at rods anything under 280 id say your stock rods are descent with conservative tune....nothing above 12-15psi....

I'll try and help then. Just save yourself the money down the road and go with the full-race kit instead of the revhard. Revhard is more for newbies who want 250 and that's that. Boost is addicting, and I bet 90% of the people on here will agree with that. 7psi is cool, then 12 is awesome, but soon 20 is what you are wanting and you won't be sure that 20 will keep you happy. All in all, just go with the fullrace and save yourself some headache.

Management is up to you but get something such as uberdata, hondata, crome, neptune, AEM, autronic.....there are alot of possibilities so do some research and figure out which one best suits your needs. Don't let people on here tell you which one is best and other BS. Learn and decide for yourself.

Gauges boost, EGT, Oil pressure, A/F (wideband though), water temp are the main ones. Once you have those get others that you want. For the A/F, buy a real wideband and not the Autometer A/F gauge...that one is just worthless to you.

Injectors You pick the whp you want and choose a cooresponding size, but keep in mind that boost is addicting.

Credit where it is due: You should thank Jeff Evans for those numbers.

Hope that helps a little. Oh and remember no matter what route you go...GET IT TUNED!
