Finally tuned! Turbo '01 ITR
My car has been running untuned for several months and I finally got time and $$ to get it tuned. Thanks go out to Tobi(FULLTHROTTLE) for his tuning and Dyno Pro in Denver for use of the Dyno. I met and exceeded my 400whp goal
Pic of the dyno chart: 422.3hp & 293.2tq
Engine bay:
Laptop etc:
Car Strapped down:
100% street car, easy to drive on the street, here it is parked outside my desk here at work as we speak

Re: Finally tuned! Turbo '01 ITR (MIKES)
i've seen lately that a few turbo set up's have very large piping coming off of the turbo to the air filter as opposed to 2.5-3". does that make a noticeable difference?

Re: Finally tuned! Turbo '01 ITR (MIKES)
The motor is a pretty basic setup using some parts that are highly criticized here on H-T The car still has the original B18C5 in it setup as follows:
-Bored .20 over on stock sleeves
-InlinePro Block guard
-Ross 9.2-1 Comp. Pistons on stock Shot peened Type R rods
-100% stock head and Intake Mani
-Hondata S200, 780 Precision Injectors
-Knockoff Ebay Manifold(added additional supports for WG and turbo)
-Out of the box Garret t3/60-1 Turbo .63 exhaust side
-Tial 38mm WG w/ 14psi spring, Tial BOV
-Custom 3" turbo back exhaust
-Johnnyracecar Intercooler(the one thats not supposed to support high power)
-custom 2.5" intercooler piping
Thats all that I can think of right now, just a basic, reasonably priced setup
Thanks for the compliments so far.

My Turbo's compressor has a 4" inlet, so I fabbed a full 4" intake for it.

someone has to crap on this party. I will
nice numbers.
bless that engine everyday
it will last about 4 months until the sleeves go out if you drive it hard. aside from that just keep it at a low psi for daily use. we just had a gs-r pulling the same amount of hp till resently it blew. after market pistons etc.
nice numbers.

I knew somebody had to do it, but I've got news for you. I've been beating on it untuned(not smart I know) for the past 6 months, when it was a bit lean and making 380whp Now it's much safer, and just happens to make more power, much safer then before. And yes, I beat the **** out of when I drive it and I don't have a boost controller. I've been driving it to work 60 miles round trip too
Thanks.
