Could you tell me what the stock psi for a 1g DSM turbo is? A friend and I were having this discussion a few days ago. I though it was between like 10-12 for the 1g's, and like 8-10 on the 2g's...

On the 1G it's 11psi and on the 2G it's an even smaller turbo cranked up to 12-13psi. So they both actually flow the same amount, just different boost pressures.

How well does the 14b work w/ a 1.6L. Am I going to be waiting to 5k to spool, or would you recommend it for street use? ( I am debating getting rid of the tiny TD04H and getting either a T25 or 14b)

Looks VERY similar to a LS motor.

 

T25 is tiny still.

The T25 is smaller 14b. You might want to go with the 16G.

You mean the head? It's aluminum. It's just clean and new. That's why it's bright silver.
