ladysman, that basemap was scary. The 1000cc injectors have a MUCH more dynamic curve that the 880s I guess... Your "spacing" of the columns was totally off. I'll email you the tune when we're done for you to see what I mean but wow... It did get the car started (sorta - 17-18AFRs at idle) however so I'm not bitching too loud

The car screams. Slipped a tooth or two on the cam before we really got done on the vtec cam, but I'm fully expecting a solid powerband into the high 8000s, if not more like 9000. It's kinda strange for me tuning hondata instead of uberdata / crome / turboedit, but it's all the same ****. Only so many ways you can package a speed-density system... No need to hate on hondata - it's a great system for those that don't want to **** with things and like things like being able to start the car cold with 1000cc injectors in sub zero weather.

It sort of comes through in the pictures, but the kind of attention to detail Craig has paid to this car makes me honored to be able to tune it...

Stay tuned? We're going out after 9 tonight... Those of you in Cinci should know where to look for high speed flybys tonight.

It is a basemap so what do you expect. Basemaps are good for getting the car started. That is about it.

1000cc injectors like a high static fuel pressure (55 or higher even). Craig told me on the phone it was at 42. I would increase it. Seems to help the low end (idle) when it is higher as the larger injectors take longer to open. Just makes it easier to tune the idle (and very low) part of the map I have found.

I guess I better not give out basemaps anymore.

You misunderstand me! I appreciate the basemap, and I want to shoot the final street tune back to you so you can see the differences between your base + where it ended up. Thanks a bunch!

Sorry, I wasn't in the best of moods when I read that. I guess I did misunderstand the post.

Drive it and send me some datalogs along with the map. Make sure you send me the map that corresponds to each datalog. Just remember that when the weather is 70 degrees, it will run rich.

No tuning since it snowed in Cincy on the 22nd. We did switch it over to 3 bar and messed with that for a little bit. Dyno tune in Jan-Feb so we're ready for SFWD/T4
