Final shots of my manifold
Well here is the final product! I couldn't be happier. The material is 16 gauge 321 stainless steel, TIG welded. The manifold was made by Dave of Super T Motorsports (see sig for link), I reccomend his work to anyone here.
Thanks Dave!

Re: Final shots of my manifold (AVATAR)
it looks awesome, but i am also wondering how the wastegate is gonna perform with the port on that one cylinder.........
its almost like a tubular DRAG manifold...........

i'd say to get rid of that wastegate arm and plug it up.
try running a turbonetics turbine housing with wastegate flange welded on to it. i run one of these on my t4.

The wastegate will peform excellent as the outlet to the wastegate was positioned near the colector area and can effectively bybass exhaust gases from all cylinders. Wastegate on this particular setup is a Tial 35mm.

Re: Final shots of my manifold (Elite Hatch)
I see the point you are making, its fairly short, for some reason that picture makes it look about a foot long! Some sort of optical illusion going on....
Ive made headers with wastegate tubes over 10" inches long on motors surpassing 500hp without any adverse effects or boost spike problems...that runner is only about 4" long...It just looks long, with the wastegate on it doesn't even go past the water oultet on the head...
Also for those wanting the wastegate postitioned differently or a different wastegate flange on there, I can put it anywhere you would like...
This particular customer just wanted it going out this side and positioned as is...
Also, for those who are interested some FYI about the header...
It is 16 guage Aircraft quality 321 Stainless steel. Many of the headers floating around are a lesser grade 304 stainless steel and are prone to cracking. The header is TIG welded and backpurged while welding(filling the inside of the tube with inert gas while welding)
Collector area has all 4 runners merging at the turbine inlet and smooth transitions in the collector area.
Head flange is full 1/2 inch thick CNC machined mild steel(I dont recommend stainless steel for the header flanges themselves, stainless has a high expansion rate and some people have experienced, when using stainless for the flange, it pulling the studs out of the head and constant lossening of the bolts. With 1/2 inch thick steel warpage is non existent and due to the thickness and heat incountered they dont ever really rust) Plus, since they are CNC computer machined, they are dead on and fit perfect...
Thanks for your input,

Dave

Re: Final shots of my manifold (TheShocker)
Maybe this pic will show a little better the proportions of the manifold:

Re: Final shots of my manifold (BudaKai)
I'm assuming it's not A/C compatable... Figures I guess.
By the way for anyone who is interested, this manifold places the compressor on the drivers side.

Re: Final shots of my manifold (Lastgsr)
Introductory price is 750.00. I was looking around at all the manifolds available for hondas and I found many in the 400-700 range of which all most all were using much cheaper 304 stainless steel or mild steel(both of which crack in short order), not the aircraft quality 321 (which costs twice as much as 304)stainless steel that I use and many designs were not as, how should i say it, Bling bling...So its a really great buy. I dont know how long they'll stay that low, but for now that is the price...
