Default FI cams

i looked in the search but didnt see anything that was too terribly helpful. im wondering what cams some of you gusy are running with boosted b series. im going to be running a bored and sleeved b16. looking to tune to 15-18psi.

basically what is the biggest cam i can run in terms of duration without having too much valvle overlap. also...with adjustable cam gears, cant valve overlap be adjusted?

these might seem like retarded questions to some, but im coming from working on a VR6 which has 2 cylinder banks and one head and 2 cams and 12 valves...basically, 12 years later, they are still arguing over whether or not to classify it as a dual cam engine or not. adjustable cam gears arent something anyone does with one of those.

thanks for your help.

I think most people are running gsr cams, but good gains have been seen from running ITR or CTR cams. I personally ran GSR, and now I'm running ITR. I haven't dynoed the car to see the difference yet...

Good luck!

I know of alot of people who are running the GSR exhaust and a ITR intake cam and making really good power.... some times with a FI motor they really dont need a agressive cam to make power..... but the question you need to ask your self is how much power you want to make and try to find dyno sheets to kinda compare and go off of

Good luck
