Default fastest, daily driven boosted sohc?

like the topic says , fasted daily driven sohc eg's . pics , set-ups etc, thinking this is the route i'll be going so just want some imput. i know search but im at work and dont have too much time. thanks for anything you can contribute.

mine was pretty quick until i spun a bearing 12.6 @ 110 @ 12 psi w/ the only good run. damn broken shift forks. rebuilding the motor as we speak. tranny is done. diff is welded i'll be in the 11's w/ more boost!

a d16z6.
eagle rods, srp pistons, uberdata w/ some 720's. full jg head, oversized valves, p&p, cam, etc. pics and **** are in the sig

Interesting. Usually I hear of the Y8's spinning bearings, not the Z6. Any idea why it might of happened?

yea i spun a bearing in a y8 motor with less than 10k on it..... It was my fault, I had a motor oil leak somewhere and missed it. When I checked the oil it was bone dry.

Couldn't agree more. I beat the crap out of mine constantly for a year and nothing happened (w/ pm6-a06 computer & msd rpm switch HA!) I even passed a del sol with a type r motor in it on the road course. And it ran when I left it...

This is not my car but my friends ride. 1998 Civic DX Coupe.Car is 100% complete,meaning that it has absolutelly no weight reduction.Car has A/C too and the driver weights 260lbs.

Best run on slicks: 12.60@110mph (1.9 0-60ft)
On street tires: 12.9@ 113mph

still waiting on RS Machine to do my headgasket. it only takes a day for the head at the machine shop. as soon as that gasket is done i can get running. but RS NEVER picks up the phone. it was two weeks before i got thru to them to even know the gasket had gotten to them.

No man..i dont have any vids ..

Whats it called then?

I know that he sold the FMU like 2 months ago and got an aeromotive thing that he put in the firewall..I dunno for sure if thats an FPR or another Fuel pump..HIs best time so far was with the FMU.
