Fast idle question...
For my turbo setup, I'm going to be using Hondata, the S200B on a chipped p28 ecu. My question is this, the ecu is from a 92-95 civic... which the cold idle was controlled mechanically by the FITV valve. On my obd2 d16y8, the fast idle is controlled electronically by the ecu through the IAC valve.
When I put the p28 in, will I lose fast idle when cold? I ask because I think the p28 doesn't have any control program for the fast idle because the car it's from had a FITV, therefore it won't open the IAC, leaving me with 800rpms of cold idle. Since this obd2 to obd1 conversion has been done countless times, I assume many people will know the answer from experience. TIA
