Default F22a1 forged pistons

I'm going to be boosting my 92 accordlx soon.I finished the 5spd swap about a month ago.Put 750 miles on it runs good. But anyway I was origanaly going just run stock internals and low boost like at most 8psi.But now Ive decided to buy some wisco pistons from summit. And just throw them in while Im changing all the engine seals and timing belt anyway.
I don't know much about piston sizes and compression so can anyone tell me what size annd compression pistons for a stock bore f22a1.
And with the forged pistons will I be able to run like 12 psi of boost?
Any advice would be helpfull.

12 psi shoud be possible on the stock internals with good tuning... although what size turbo are we talking about?

should be an 85mm bore on the f22a1 unless it is rebuild or overbored. it is 8.8:1 compression stock, unless the head has been milled.

Thanks for the advice man.Its bone stock right now so it is 8.8:1.I haven't bought any parts yet. Waiting on my tax return.I think I'm going to go with a t3 with a 60.ar ..I did the turbo calculator thing on stealth mode performance and thats the one thats compressor map matched my engine the best.

Or I may just go with a 2g dsm setup.Does anyone have an opinion on a 16g in an accord?

And does anyone have a p28 ready for chrome for sale?

np... if your worried about pushing the limits of the motor, think about getting a boost controller so you can turn down the boost when you dont want to run as much as 12psi (for daily driving, cruising, etc.).

dont forget to compression check your setup before to start adding boost, that way you know if the motor is good for any boost at all. do all the routine maintance and stuff too, if you have not already.

a t3 60 trim sounds like a good turbo for that motor... you could make some decent power and it is not going to fall off on the top end. I personally am biased though toward the bigger unit over the dsm setup, but hopefully some others will chime in with their opinions. I am not saying the 16g or whatnot would be a bad thing by any means, just not my flavor (although I dont have a whole lot of experience with them). good to see someone doing some research before you impulsively just buy parts... it should pay off in the long run.

what are you looking for out of this setup... whp, spool time, etc? it may help in deciding which route to go.

Well I''d like to get about 200 to 250 hp and I'd like to spool at around 3000 and then pull steady up to a 6500 redline.
I know with chrome i could raise my redline but with this engine it would probably just throw a rod.
