I have a f22a1 (90 accord) motor and i just want to boost it and want to know should i swap it for a newer F22 or just boost it like it is? And No I DON'T WANT A H22 cuz it cost more
If you Boost a stock f22, You wont even have as much power as a stock H22 would.....
And chances are since its a 90, you probably have more that 180k on your motor..
F22 blocks are able to handle a decent ammount of boost, but without supporting modifications your not gonna see numbers near a H22

you are 100% wrong. a stock F22 at low boost will easily put down better numbers than a stock N/A H22.
to the OP: you can fit a DSM manifold on the F22Ax heads easily you just have to open up a few of the mounting holes on the manifold. easy junkyard setup.
the F22A heads outflow the F22B heads anyhow.

are you high?
I agree with notoriousB.
If you cannot make stock h22 numbers with a boosted f22 (given the proper tuning and fuel management obviously)... something is VERY wrong (ie no fuel management) or your using a turbo sized for a go cart engine.
A compression check and whatnot can easily be done to evaluate the condition of the motor... whatever the mileage.
To note, I put 335 whp down on a dyno with a stock f22b1 motor with a custom turbo kit, fuel management, and tuning.
