Which A/F Guage Is The Best???
Alright im fixing to put a turbo on my 95 LS and im fairly new to the honda turbo scene and i was wondering which a/f guage is the best and most acurate? I know that the Autometer one is only good when your on the gas but i was wondering if there is a guage that is acurate even when your not on the gas hard?? Any suggestions will be useful. Thanks

If you really want a narrow A/F guage, and you plan on going turbo, just get the Apexi Turbo Timer with the A/F gauge built in. IMO.

The best "bang for the buck" wide band AF meter is the Techedge DIY meter followed by the semi-wide band Greddy meter. I have both and the Greddy's 3volt sensor makes turning part throttle really difficult.

Do the apexi turbo timer w/a.f work good?

The Apex Turbo timer AF meter relies on the signal from whatever O2 sensor you are using so it's only as good as the sensor. Stock 1volt sensors suck doo doo. Greddy 3volt sensors are awesome for tuning WOT but make me want to choke myself when trying to get accurate low throttle readings. A true 5 volt heated sensor is the only way to go. Motec, Horiba and FTK use the same FGK made wideband sensor. The circuitry(heater/signal output) is what sets them apart. here are a couple.
Greddy ($250 with 3volt sensor)
Techedge DIY is the cheapest 5 volt wide band. $250~$280 with L1H1 sensor )
FJO wide band ($800~900)
Integral (japanese) wide band ($1100)
FTK (japanese) wide band with boost or EGT ($1100)
Motec wide band (too much)
Horiba wide band (mortgage your house)

Dee...you suck!
When are coming to Kanto?!?!? Dave is suppose to be back on the 6th! We are going to go on a quest for more power and check up on some tuning shops around here.

Very good information

Im looking at the greddy price
..Do you have it?If yes, would u recommend it?

Yes, I own a Greddy meter. It gives wacky part throttle readings but gives awesome WOT readings. The Techedge DIY is the best choice for street tuners on a budget. Techedge is working on a revision that will allow sensors other than the L1H1 to be used.

do you need to weld another o2 sensor bung for that?
and does anyone have any problems with this, I know this guy did...

Is it pretty simple to build the unit?
Its either this or the greddy.
