i'm installing an autometer phantom A/F gauge, i know they don't do much good but what the hell......i tapped into the white wire coming from the 02 sensor with the purple wire on the gauge.....and ran the red to the radio fuse and the black to ground....the green light is on with the purple wire unhooked so its getting power...when i connect the purple/white together the light goes off......and nothing is reading.........WTF ?????

 

try another wire. I think mine was white with a pink stripe or something. Good luck

don't think i have a white with pink stripe....mines the OBD1 4 wire O2 sensor

 

oh my bad, i connected mine at the ECU and not the O2. Im OBD1 also though. Sorry man, i wish i could be more help.
