Default a/f autometer for b16a delsol p30 ecu?

sup peeps,
i've been working on piecing a kit for my car and i'm finally done! yep, i have all the parts and i've decided to go w/ the hondata s200 after i originally decided to go w/ the afc hack. well, i got all my gauges installed on the pods and i hooked up the violet wire from the autometer a/f meter to d14 on my p30 ecu. after i got this done, the meter indicated about 2-3 bars on the rich side under full throtlle(sp?) but the bars just jump around like crazy and just completely off during idle. did i hook this up properly or did i do something wrong? i know autometers are inaccuate as hell but it really seems wrong. i'd appreciate any help. thanx ya'll

thtas what its supposed to do.... thats why people say those a/f gauges are nothing more than a dancing light show. If you want something more acurate get a wideband.

Heh, my autometer actaully works faily well.........but i've got open loop turned off through my standalone, and all my fuel valves are calibrated my a seperate wideband O2 setup I run........

That dancing back and forth you see is the ECU in open loop mode Its making tiny adjustments to the A/F ratio, boucing just rich and just lean of 14.7:1....

yea, that's what i was thinking. i noticed that at idle, the bars just go back and forth but at times, the lights stay completely off untill i touch the throttle again. which is why i had doubts on whether i hooked it up right or not because it seeme like the lights would only come on when i touched the throttle which gave me doubts. i checked everywhere and everyone says that i should hook it up to pin d14 on gsr's but i wasn't sure if it was the same on my ecu. anyways, i guess it's hooked up correctly and i should really think about upgrading to the diy wideband once i come up w/ the cash. well, after what seemed to be an eternity, i finally started installing my turbo kit that i've pieced. i'll be going back to my uncle's shop later to work on the car some more and hope everything turns out well. wish me luck guys and i'll post some pics as soon as i get everything done.
