Default Experience with Greddy E-01 Boost controller / e-manage ???

Anyone do any tuning or have experience with this combo? I know it is a lot of money but there are some ballers here! I am wondering how limited it is. Ease of use? I am sure hook up is a bitch but anyone have any horror stories? Sorry for all the questions.

imo it's good but it's still a piggy back based on how it works. it does do ignition timing which is good but by the time u buy all the harnesses, etc it ends up being kinda expensive vs a hondata for example.

Had one hooked up my friend's 02 si with a greddy kit and we couldn't get the damn thing to idle right and whenever he would hit boost his damn CEL would come on and the "blue box" started throwing codes of its own. I ripped the ******* POS out of his car and threw it in the river behind his house. He was pissed but got over it when I hooked up a SAFC I had laying around. I cleared his idle problem, took it out for a ride for a street tune and it ran fine. He took it to the dyno a week later and they only made 3 changes to the settings I made. He gave $200 for the SAFC and wrote a letter to greddy.

Needless to say, I hate that POS.

Sorry man, but I'm just giving my story. My opinion is if its blue and greddy designed its better to stay away from it.

There are tuners that are available to tune this thing GREAT!! just a bit difficult to find. Most are in the Midwest as of late.
