i was told that a turbo will make ur exhaust actually quieter and im planning on going forced induction here soon but im leaning more towards the high boost jackson racing kit... is it going to make my exhaust quieter or louder? what should i expect from sound? i did a search and couldnt find anything since everyone always complains about searching

 

the turbo will tone your exhaust down. the high boost jackson will be louder if you have a free er flowing exhaust. because there is no turbo back there. but a good exhaust with a resonator, you should be fine.

 

I thought this was gonna be about the "exhaust notes" section of Honda Tuning magazine. I'm always looking for a good ol' cheap shot at Dru.

 

boostedcivicsir... i got a b18c swap with the itr header and greddy sp2 exhaust and i got a magneflow high flow cat.. u think the jrsc would be really loud?

if it has a cat and a resonator, you should be ok. if you had 2.5 straight with a bullshit muffler, it will sound like ***. ask rmcdaniels he is a jackson user and may be able to help you out a little more. he says pm's dont work so look at his profile it has his email address.
