Default Exhaust in NJ

the last part of my turbo equation is getting an exhaust. i want to do it for cheap. $300 about. i live in NJ so it needs to pass emissions. I know you can get mandrel bent pipe for pretty cheap and a cat for like $100. so why are exhausts so damn expensive? anyone live in NJ wanna make me one for $300?

mkteller on this siter sell exhaust kit for cheap. try doing a search, he had a group by before. As for inspection, just pay like 100-120 on most private garage and they will pass you.

thanks. these guys always beat around the bush when i call them. i found a bunch of people saying they liked them and their work but when i called them and i asked for an approx. price they were like "you have to bring it down. 45 mins down. 45 mins back just to do it again when they can schedule me in. or a trip just for them to quote me $500 is not what im looking for. i emailed them again. maybe they will be more straight forward

did you guys ever think of simply buying the 3 inch mild steel bends from aq shop,, one such place is California speed shop in new brunswick,,, they have all american **** there, but they also have straight pieces and the u bends and all that ****, then bring that to like midas or some ****,,,,, i have a dp back 3 inch from Mufflex, its heavy as hell, its mandrel bent,, its 1 piece so i have to take the ****** right rear lower control arm out when i remove the exhaust, and my boy who originaly baught it from there paid something like 500 for it 2 years ago, with a flexpipe and no muffler. I dont know i think they take advantage of people hardcore out here,, and honestly i thin kif you can find somebody that can do 2.75 exhaust, like many muffler shops, you should be ok,,,,, i always hear **** or read **** that says 3 inch is to big for our motors that we usually turbo or supercharge, so i dont know just a suggestion
