Default exhaust leak

well i start up my car today and its so loud, im wondering what the hell??? So im drinving and i can smell exhaust and also no boost..just goes up to 0 and stops.. i check the piping..that is ok. so then i check all the bolts and they are tightened..i think i may need to retighten the wastegate. I was wondering if you blow the wastegate paper flange thingy(that goes in between wastegate and manifold) will that caues your car to sound like you are leaking exhaust?? i know im leaking exhaust just need to find where...well maybe you guys could help me out.

Yeah man.. a leaky wastegate gasket will do you in.. happened to us before.. make sure you use lock washers on those bolts for the wastegate.. and use a fire-ring gasket if you can.. roadrace has them (roadraceengineering.com).. good luck!

if your downpipe doesn't have a flexpipe, check the seems around your flange that connect to the turbine housing. your welds might be fux0r3d
