exhaust cutout question
Thinking of something like this
Wired to both a toggle switch & a WOT switch. I would have it on the downpipe. Just wondering if the extra chamber created when its closed creates a lot of turbulence, and if would would have a loss of power when closed, vs. with no cutout at all.

Re: exhaust cutout question (Greyout)
i wouldnt put it to wot swx, that will cause more stress on the motor openeing and closing , as far as losing power when closed, i havent noticed any diff in mine?

how so? I'll already have a 3" exhaust... Rumor has it that they will begin emissions testing here in Texas and I'd like to be able to have a cat (which will also keep it quiet around town) and then have that open when I get on it. I'm not sure I understand how that could put stress on the engine.

Re: exhaust cutout question (Greyout)
no the motor for the cut out , if its opening everytime you get on it ,it will stress the cutout , wear and tear man / . . . . why would you need the toggle too ?
just put it by the toggle and when your looking for trouble open it up , its not too hard of work to flip a switch .
