Excel Spreadsheet - Plotting Compressor Maps for D-Series
Hello,
I've finally figured out how to read these compressor maps. It is a simple spreadsheet which will help you with the math for plotting different points on a compressor map. I've used BlueShadows (
) posts for pretty much all of these numbers. If i've made any mistakes on this please let me know so I can change the numbers around.
Also I am providing this as mearly a tool to help others, I can not claim that I understand everything with regards to matching a turbo to a specific engine. I just want to help others and make it easier for those who are trying to learn this stuff.
For referance here are the posts i've used.

Since I have a SOHC engine the CID (cubic inch displacement) which is in the spreadsheet now is for a d16z6 with 75.5 mm pistons.
The spreadsheet can be adapted for B series engines but you need to calculate your CID for your engine.
Its a simple spreadsheet I threw together please forgive its rough appearance.
