I believe that impoperformance in pa has one. It isnt the Kooks style that your refering to in the pic, but it is an equal length one. I was talking to then at the track last week. I think its stainless too, they said its the same one that on their racecar. HTH

you mean this:

It makes decent power but jsut carcks far too often. Pull it and reweld it once every 2 weeks... it just sucks. Im putting a maxrev manifold on my car when i get home.

thats the kooks manifold... in the past people have had problems with them cracking... but if they are reinforced correctly... it can be avoided...here's another one... the one in the blue integra was the first one madee (the prototype) if ur intersted in one emal me @ afonez@aol.com

Hey Screw that manifold, where do I find that nice carbon fiber valve cover
;-)

dont you just use the revhard one made of weld els viren? What have you found thru your extensive testing to work the best?

interesting findings on intake manifolds BTW.

TRUE i love my little revhard manifold. Works the best out of all the manifold out there. If its good for 600hp why change it right....

What findings have you come up with regarding collector design, runner length etc?

On our race car we have the new longer runner revhard with the t4 flange. Have you tried that out yet? I dont think anyone has tested as much as you and at least willing to discuss their results. Im eager to hear your input.

all in all, considering price and performance, would it be better to buy a revhard kit, a fmax kit, or custom fabricate a kit?

the full tubular rev hard that kenny uses is pretty interesting. When he stepped up to that he gained 26hp at the same boost level compared to the one that i currently use. I was suppose toget the one that he uses that is jet hot coated and everything but never had the time to switch it out this season. I think the honda motor GSR that is need something that is = in distance that has runner that are approx 2.25 inch. That is the best combo i have seen so far. There is this custom manifold that isaw which is almost perfect. its = distane + it runners are adequately sized to flow what we need to flow.

What were your results with the AXZ/Kooks and the kiwi? Gary gardella is runnign a kiwi and seems pretty happy with it.

We have been looking to make a killer casting. I did some calculations and we modeled it in Pro-E. The casting will be made of 347 stainless steel and should be the ultimate manifold in production... equal length, full collector, the whole 9. Are you gonna make it to SEMA? We will have a bunch of info on it there.

yea i should be at sema with the tube chassis car if everything gets done. Its in the paint shop right now and still awaiting some strange Suspension components.

the KIWI that gary runs makes some mad pwr he pushing 640hp in simple setup. We put a manifold on a B18c that was using my current setup before an it pushed 540hp. Now it pushes at the same boost same turbo it pushed 585hp so increase of 45 top end power. The power curver was smooth also.

the kooks manifold is also a nice peice of work if stopped cracking all the time. its = length and flows very well for its deisgn.

right now for the money and bang for your dollar revhard tubular is the cheapest that provides decent pwr. the next best would be the full tubular one from them and the finally the best would be kiwi.

But overall i think would get aebs to make a custom one paulis from there makes some kewl **** with 625 Inconel. It looks bad *** and it well fabricated. Just wish the price of the material and workmanship would come down.
