Default Enough for 11s?

I'm not trying to ask what it takes to make 11's.. Rather if what I have will do it. My goal for my car has been to make it an 11sec daily driver, I don't know why I chose 11's but I think that would be a pretty respectable car. I searched and didn't show much. My set up will be as follows. Shooting for 400whp

-99 Civic Si ((pretty much full interior minus AC (yeah its a pig))
- a t3/t4 turbo (I've been told my turbo will be on the brink of choking so maybe a gt30)
-maxrev mani
-LS block (gsr oil pump and water pump )with my b16 head with gsr cams and adjustable cam gears, also my b16 tranny. Using AEBS head studs.
- 9:1 coated wiseco pistons and eagle rods
- 3" exhaust and mani
- AEBS intake mani and sending my b16 throttle body to be bored to 65mm here in the next day or so.
- I'll be gettin a LSD here shortly

I know I'll be needing a bigger intercooler and injectors, which will come.
The rest of the other stuff isn't really important heh.

So with some slicks/drag radials. Think 11's are within reach? I'm trying to figure out what I might need to replace that might cause my setup to be choked.

Type R cams will help you, aswell as a better final drive. But its really going to depend on your driving skills, tuner and suspesnion/gearing/slick sizing. Joo can do it meng.

that setup u want is not bad, but it looks like ur just getting the stuff that will make power.

i think 400hp is pushing it for stock sleeves though imo. especially ls/vtec

wrong... 400 is perfectly fine for stock sleeves. there are ppl pushing closer to 700 on stock sleeves and they are still runnin fine to this day. Its all about tuning. Don't let joe shmoe tune your car, and you will be fine.

Edit: I am actually lookin (hoping) to hit 11's as well. W/o some suspension upgrades I think you will have a hard time gettin there.

yea I concur with the rest, the key is the tune. Ya setup is pretty nice so just turn the boost up and get it tuned. With some slicks u could easily hit 11's with a ls/vtec @ 15 psi on a T3/t4

Well forgot about the management, but blundar on here is going to be tuning it with crome. So I am confident it'll be tuned properly. As for suspension.. I'm running skunk2 coil overs and koni yellow shocks.. Not too sure on spring rates though, they were on the car when I bought it 3 years ago. But its reassuring to know it should be in the rang I'm wanting. Now all I need to do is assemble my motor and pull my blown b16 out

I agree with above. I've put a couple of cars into the 11's with stock motor turbo ls's on 22" slicks and an open diff. 11's are easy. 10's take a little more money.
