Default engine management

so just to get this strait i need engine managmement for my turbo project. the tuner i'll be using recomended neptune. to do that i need...
its a 97 car which = OBD2. i need an OBD1 ecu like a p28?? to make it work i'll need a conversion harness?

next question, whats the average price for tuning?

97 what?

you will need the conversion, the ECU and it will need to be socketed.

For dyno/tuning time I pay $80 / hr. Other places around here are 100 or more.

IF your car is obd2, then you should get a obd1 conversion harness (skunk2 or kenji's) and it will need to be socketed, you can tune with chrome, or neptune. I'm sure there are others. but those are the only 2 that id use.

sorry, ok the car's a 97 civic dx. i'm looking to turbocharge it. the shop i talked to says "The cost of Neptune is 300.00 +
socketing 65.00+ tuning 585.00"
and thats not including the ecu, or the conversion harness i guess, how much does the harness run?

and while i'm at it where's a good place to get a p28?

there's a few guys on here that sell everything you need, just search around.
they are reasonably priced as well. try phearable.net
