Default Engine builders please help. Dart block problem

Ok we have a dart block with an 84.5mm bore and a gsr head that was fixed to run on an older b20 block, (ls/vtec style so the oil port in the head has been sealed). Ok we used a B20 headgasket on the block and come to find out the dart block is based of a GSR block so the oil feed for the head was in the block but the LS gasket did not cover it. So is a GSR gasket going to work? Is the the same bord as the b20? We thought about drilling out the plug thats in the GSR head. Any recomendations? thanks

I would use a gsr gasket and untap the head. No sense in having a external oil line unless you have to.

So a stock GSR headgasket is over 84.5mm? True with the hole, its just that the hole has a brass pin in there. Ill have the machine shop take it out

I hope you know a gsr head gasket is 81mm if you are building this block. You can either get a cometic gasket or a stock one bored out from GEM. I have a 84.5mm stock vtec gasket from GEM in stock if you need one.

TurboEX please call me at work. The credit card # you gave me didn't work. I already send out the headgasket to you. You should receive it today. Please call me 901-377-0027.
