I was told not to use synthetic oil until 10,000 miles. also I would suggest using 10w30 over th 5w30

I just fully rebuilt my engine and new clutch and such and I waited 700 miles before I hit vtec and during the whole break in period would not get over 4K rpms... Then on 700 miles I changed the oil and put 10w 40 in and new oil filter and drive her normal now =D

most of the engine break in happens withing the first 100 miles

after that if done correctly there shouldnt be any problems

change it and it shall be fine.....

remember synthetic oil leaks from wherre normal oil doesnt
