Default Engine Bearing clearance

Damn it I can't remember who I got the bearings from.

Anyhow, I got the ACL beaing kit for my B16 and I was mearsuring the mains the other day(finally). I did the search and everyone's recommedations were 0.0015-17

These are the mains, don't have time for the rods yet.

#1 - 0.0015
#2 - 0.0015
#3 - 0.0011
#4 - 0.0015
#5 - 0.0014

What do ya'll think is this ok for FI??? Just worried about #3

Anyone know who I can call to get the one step looser???

Thanks

#3 is on the tight side. It would be wise to purchase an OEM upper and lower main bearing to replace the ACL. The ACL bearings are approximately the same size as a green main bearing from Honda. Honda color coating works by allowing you to size a bearing larger or smaller by 0.0001" with each jump in color. Since you are at approximately a green now, you'll want to go to a pink or red. This will give you an extra 0.0002-4" clearance.

Its not optimal. Your choices at this point are going with all OEM or just doing one main.

Then OEM mains I must do. **** I see more money flying out of my pocket.

Now I just hope the ACL rod bearings are good, let me cross my fingers.

I say run one red honda and check the clearances. If they are all fine then leave it. BTW, if you want a good deal on OEM bearings, call len, he is an awsome guy with great prices.
