I have a 99 GSr with a greddy kit and was hoping to do an obd 2 to obd 1 conversion with handata 2b. Just curious, do any of you guys living in cali have problems with emission becasue when I called hondata they told me it wasn't emission legal. But if it is illegal why so, and how can they tell?

A lot of places will hook up an OBD2 scan tool to your OBD2 diagnostics port near the hood latch. That will no longer work with an OBD1 Hondata ECU. I don't think they do that with OBD1 cars (yet), but unfortunately, if you're OBD2 and you live in Cali, you're stuck.
