Default Electric overlooked ?

Well maybe a dumb question but...why is this over looked ??? https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1024174 What's so bad about electric superchargers. Obviously not as powerfull as the real thing but why is it over looked ? Even if it's ****, it should be covered, and explained why it's ****.

I'm not a physicist and i suck at physics so i'm sorry for my "ignorant" wording here...

In physics there is a law that states "you cant create energy from nothing" or something to that effect...

If you're going to use a supercharger powered by electricity that takes only a 10amp 14.7volt current (150w) and its supposed to make 20-30whp...that's getting energy (hp) for free....that just doesn't happen...

My wording is horrible as is my explanation, so someone else elaborate on this....

Electric superchargers are little more than boat blower motors that you stick in your intake. They do nothing except block the flow of air and actually impede performance.

Go on Homemadeturbo.com and look in the tech section.

Plain and simple. They cannot flow enough air at a high enough PSI to create any real pressure. If it was a sealed system you might be able to make a couple psi but the fact is that your engine is sucking in such a large volume of air that the little fan cant keep up and ends up being a restriction. For comparison, it takes approx. 20hp to turn a standard automotive supercharger (this can vary depending on its intended use). That little fan might have a .2 hp motor. Hell, lets say it had a whole 1 hp....its not going to be enough.
