Check arp headstuds after 500 miles of putting them in?
I read a reply in one of the threads that you should check your arp headstuds after 500 miles of putting them in, i searched for more info but did not find anything on this topic. So my question is, what does it mean exactly to "check" them after 500 miles? do they come loose or something? I have a machine shop building my motor at the moment.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I guess if you were going to check them you would need to take the cams out and put a torque wrench on each one and check to see if its at the same torque as when you put it together, and probably in the correct sequence as well.I never checked mine after i built my motor, 20k later its ok..Maybe im just dumb.

My engine builder told me they should be fine, but I guess it doesn't hurt to check. I opted to trust him since I didn't want to have to pull the cams and redo the valve adjustment. If you can get at the studs without having to teardown half your head, then I'd check the torque for fun.
