Default Egine Life

Hello everybody. I'm going to ask a question which has been probably been asked on previous occasions, but I did a search and couldn't find anything. I am planning on putting a greddy turbo kit on my little D16 engine at the end of this year and was wondering about the effects on engine life. My car has abou 25, 000 miles on it presently. Now hypothetically speaking, if I were to spend alot of time on the Dyno, get the best tuning set up possible (like Hondata), take excellent care of it, and keep the boost at a moderate setting(5-8 psi), how long would my engine be able to hold up. I know that nobody can determine exactly how long, and that any boost puts additional strain on the engine, so naturally engine wear is excellerated. But with the best tunning possible on this small kit, would my engine be able to make it over 150,000 miles? Or less? Maybe more? Your advice is greatly appreciated.

-Mike

Proplerly tuned at no more than 8psi, it'll last you a very long time so long as you maintain it and don't overly-abuse it.
