EFI TUNING SCHOOL
Hey Guys,
The best place in the USA to learn about engine tuning using fuel injection:
"EFI 101" is back in town again in Huntington Beach, CA on Jan 17-18th.
This seminar will be at the same place as the last...... AytoWave, Inc
For details check out the schedule page at http://www.efi101.com
The seminar is updated and new information has been added, so look for this to be the best one yet!
See ya there!

EFIGUY, any idea when or if even EFI101 is coming back to the mid atlantic area(ie NJ, NY, PA, etc.)?? just wondering before I commit to the session way up in CT in March?? can't wait though
they are all 395 if you sign up now(before jan 31st)
im trying to decide between CT and IL.
CT is a shorter drive for me though(but not by a shitload) so I dunno.

This is like killing me. I'm half way around the world. And there's an event in April @ Chicago; that's where I studied from 96-02. Always wanted to technically learn more about tuning. I wish I could be there!
DA-MAX,
We already have the schedule set all the way through May.......we don't have any scheduled yet for the TRI-State area, but the earliest we will see one there will be july-august ish.......
The $100.00 discount is good only until Jan 31 2004, so don't deliberate too long

yeah, I know............yours was the most successful from last year. We are already trying to work on a date, then we'll work on a shop to host the whole deal.....hopefully one that's a bit more Honda friendly this time.......
Also, for the rest of yous guys........
Here is the original seminar outline...it has been expanded now to include more engine tuning theory and actual injection theory.........
What is Tuning?
Calibrating an engine via Laptop
Creating a program that allows the engine to function in a certain manner consistent with the desired application
The process of testing and rearranging the files in a table that commands engine functions of a given nature
Why do we tune?
Maximum performance
power, torque
Drive-ability
Fuel Economy
Throttle response
Ambient conditions change
altitude
temperature
fuel quality
What things in a calibration can we tune?
Main fuel tables
Main Ignition Tables
Boost Tables
Idle Settings
Rev Limiters
How does it all work?
Components, Actuators, Sensors
Theory of Operation (from the process to PV=NrT)
Understanding BSFC and Injectors
What kinds of Modifier Tables do we tune?
Cold Start Extra Fuel
Cold Start Extra Fuel Time limits
Warm-Up Ignition Tables
Warm Up Extra Idle speeds

Yah, I think it was the organizer
, jk
Well, we could probably find a different dyno this time, depending on how long we would be there. Whats the outline for the advanced class? I will get ahold of you soon and we will organize something once again.
