EF turbo install PICS
I am still waiting on my radiator for this install but I'm very happy with how it has turned out so far. Let me know what you think. I can't wait to see what it does on the dyno, and on the street...

looking sweet!!!!!
One suggestion, get a cast aluminum elbow and turn you filter down, it will take fresh air from under the car and get it away from the exhaust manifold.
(and i'm not using that air filter, its just for mock up)

Re: EF turbo install PICS (Dunc)
yes, it is a tie down strap holding the battery. I have to install the battery relocation kit to get rid of the battery location problem. Just temporary.

You don't worry about sucking up water with the intake so low to the ground. My filter is up and out of the way for sucking in water. I'm going to be making an aluminum shield to prevent any possible incidents with sucking up water. Thanks for the heads up though.

Re: EF turbo install PICS (dkboyny11)
i retract the previous question and have a new one do you have plenty of room for your wastegate since it is coming out straight? also what are your plans with the intercooler and ic pipping? backdoor style or just running it through the fluid reservoir like everyone else?

Re: EF turbo install PICS (HondaCivicSiR1)
I baught taillights from someone and they were cracked and all covered with glue and crap. I have them just sitting here and I'm not going to use them. I still have the broken one on the car that I need to purchase a new one to replace it.

Re: EF turbo install PICS (Origin)
The whole kit is from full-race. They eliminate the need for the extra charge piping by directing the turbo right into the IC. I had no problem fitting the wastegate in its location just had to make a little notch in the metal bumper for the top nipple.

I agree. Last week or the week before a guy made a thread saying he had sucked his filter into his BRAND NEW turbo. The rubber stuff that connects the filter to your intake melted.

Not really, maybe it the camera angle. The thing is a good foot off the ground. I’m fabing up a splash guard as a just in case type thing .

Anyway I’m not trying to thread jack, just throwing out some ideas. Any updates???????????
