Edelbrock Intake Manifold

Edelbrock Intake Manifold
I did a search, but all I came up with it that the edelbrock manifold is good for fi, bad for mild n/a builds. Does anyone have any dyno #'s of the edelbrock manifold vs. the type r on a boosted setup? and at what boost level does the edelbrock manifold make more power?

Re: Edelbrock Intake Manifold (tthame1)
I don't know of any dyno numbers, but the Edelbrock is designed for the 9,000+rpm range where as the Type R is for the 7,000+rpm range.

I tell you on Wednesday... but this thing isnt revving to 9k
8 at the most....
Its a POS from what i can tell.. all the fittings are tarded, I cant even use half of them because the manifold wont fit with them on.
They need to supply a throttle cable bracket, i dont understand why you make a bolt on manifold but you have to fab your own brackets... BS!

c'mon man, fabricating your own bracket is the fun part. ..i got my edelbrock manifold today, now all i need is an erick's racing 74 mm throttle body to go w/ it. .

3 skunk 2, and one type r manifolds later it's still the nicest manifold i've ever bought(besides my full race turbo manifold)...but i hear what you're saying.i'm just hoping it makes more power.
