Default ECU and VTEC

I did a manual swap on my car over the summer and since then i can't feel the vtec working anymore. I changed the ecu to a manual ecu...supposed to be a 93 sohc vtec. Do u think i could of installed a 1.5 non-vtec ecu? But the car runs fine and i don't notice any problem. I have a dx tranny on the car but i don't think that would be a problem. Let me know what u think. Thanks.

I would say the problem you are experiencing with boost creep is that your spring in the wastegate is sticking open.

Wrong forum buddy!

Your ECU should say P28 on the side. That's the '93 SOHC VTEC ECU code. If you have that ECU, then your problems are elsewhere.
