No you can't edit the tune without burning another chip. You may be able to log values though and see if your tune is OK.

I use an Ostrich: Moates.net you can reflash it while the motor is running.

another option is the homebrew RTP.

The best thing u can do with what you have is make sure you have datalogger code set-up, and u can log from your OEM ecu.

this looks like good info but can you break it down for me a lil more about the datalogger and the code set up and by log do you mean store the new map??

If it is on a OBD1 ecu, it cannot be tuned with turboedit. I would suggest you take it to a tuner to have it tuned and really find out what is going on with it. Then you know what is on the ecu and can set it up accordingly to datalog.

so you mean to tell me that if its an obd1 then its not turbo edit, correct??
then my next guess would be uberdata can uberdata be used for obd1 ecu and if so can it be tuned on my laptop with out burning a chip??

again thanks

You can't tune it on your laptop without burning a chip unless you have an ostrich. I would take a look at the FAQs listed at the top of the page. There are tons of links that will help you out.

The only way it was tuned on TurboEdit is if the original creator of TurboEdit tuned it...he did have an OBD1 Version that he never released to the public and he was from Kansas, so...
