Default ECU question

Hey guys, i got a quick(dumb) question.

I'm gonna be swapping my stock OBD2 ecu back into my car, along with my stock fuel injectors.....emission test coming up.

My question is if i unplug and swap the ECU's, it won't erase the chip on my chipped p28 ECU, correct? I know...dumb question.

Please advise, thanks.

DAN

no, it's non-volatile ROM. Meaning you can deprive it of electricity all you want. You're fine
