The "apexi ****" is not the way to go. There's some really really old threads on why that I'm sure the search feature can dig up.

Check with tuners around your area and see what they offer for tuning. Do it right. If you don't have extra money for decent management, you likely won't have extra money for new engines every time you blow one up either.

Or test your luck and see how it goes! GL

john at phearable.net is awsome they are probally gunna be your best bet.
i have bought from them on several occations and have had nothing but awsome service not to mention the fastest shipping from any company ever to my house!!

pretty much there is no reason to go out and spend 200 bucks on a afc when you can get a obd1 computer and have a basemap burned on it for around the same price. then later on have it tuned to exact set up. IMO if you dont do it this way dont do it at all your just wasting your time and money. its not the 90's any more so no reason to use a piggyback.

get your conversion harness
get a computer with a basemap untill you can get it tuned

You were given a website to check out a few posts ago. They have a store with pricing.
Phearable.net

Or talk to rrivera. He's a good guy to deal with.

No. He misspelled Crome, and you probably don't want to buy from someone who can't even spell the name of the products they're trying to support correctly. Support someone who actually cares enough to get the details correct, they're more likely to take care of you as a customer.

As long as your primary O2 sensor is installed and in good shape, and your tuner sets your map to run closed loop, I think you will pass emisions. You could probably also swap in your OEM ECU before going for an inspection - maybe others can chime in here...

i dont know what kind of hondas your co-worker was building but i think you have to convert to obd1 to tune i dont think you can tune a obd2 ecu(someone correct me if im wrong). and btw you should have a obd2b to obd1 conversion harness. it is just a harness thats plug and play.(plug one end to your wire harness and the other end to the obd1 ecu)
