Default ECU help

im not sure if i have a p72 ecu how do i tell? all i can see is a bar code and a bunch of number none of which are p72.

Tell us what numbers are listed under the bar code...

okay i found pr3 is 89-91 jdm b16a ef8/9. is this going to work with hondata?

some pr3's are obd1... not all are the same in that matter... obd1 pr3 u can do hondata if i recall correctly, haven't used hondata in a while, peeps always ditch them for more "money friendly and will do the same solutions"

how do i know if the ecu is obd1 or obd2, and what are the more cost effective ways for the ecu

well if its the OBD0 ECU it will have 3 plugs and ones green the obd1 will have all grey plugs..

well more cost effective... lets see i can sell u a hondata S200 for fairly cheap... very very dirt cheap actually... and never used

other ways are crome which if u got a crome tuner on your area can do for a fee... and for the hondata u will still need the hondata part and a tuner's fee for doing it right.

i cannot find anyone (when i search) that has a pr3 and s200, does any one know if this will work, or what ecu does everyone reccomend

as mentioned above some pr3's are obd1. so that would be supported by hondata. is this for your 96 civic build? if so you should already be converted from obd2 -> obd1 or you dont have a pr3. so which is it? can you take a pic of the ecu?

its obd1 it has three grey plugs on the ecu itself

i really want the option to have a professional tune my ecu as well as myself, what are my options
