This might not be the answer you are looking for but just take it easy on your car before you get to a stopping point. Most turbos these days are also water cooled (GT series) so you don't really need a turbo timer.

 

my roommate used one, everything about them works great if your just looking for something to keep the car on.

I have one in my CRX and it works fine. Only thing I use it for is cool down and as a volt meter.

 

works perfect. easy install and very simple mechanics to duplicate. ebay has a bad wrap. come on 12 bucks shipped.
