Can't put good and cheap together bro.

Also, there's a bunch of t3/t4's out there. You need to pick a specific one. But most .50, .57,.60 trim goes from 570-700. Depending on what bolt pattern you're going with.

Get the eBay turbo, but make sure you get 3 or 4 of them because they dont last very long

For LESS THAN the price of blowing the ebay turbos, the downtime, and the general headache and time wasted changing them out, you could have a genuine Garrett. The 60trim T3 ranges from $550-650 depending on the housings, and the t3/t04e's range from $600-750, depending on cooling method, etc.

If its a street car, I'd say [60trim T3, stg3 .63ar turbine] at the most. For a built street/track car, a 50trim t3/to4e. For a dedicated drag car, 57trim or 60trim t3/t04e. Very few FWD Hondas can use much over 300whp on the street, even with drag radials.

BTW ****ALL**** the info you seek is archived and availible by using the search function. You may actually learn a lot more than you think.

I've never personally ran them. However I HAVE bought one of the kits. I didn't like it so I ended up parting EVERYTHING out and pieced together a quality kit.

Someone in my town has ran them, but the turbo was usually always leaking oil. Never personally seen the turbo "blowing" up or anything.

I second that - I know two people using the cheap ebay turbo kits and running them at low psi (I know its in between 5 and 10 psi) with zero problems. Even more, one of them is using a pherable.net pre-programmed turbo chip, so that car does not have any "realtime" tuning! But yet, they both still run great and it is still the ebay turbo kit.

I find it kinda funny how people with those expensive turbo kits like to talk bad about the ebay kits when they have not even seen one or even tried one. Personally, I would not expect them to last as long as a $2000 kit but then again, look at the price difference - even if it lasted ONE year, still it would be a good deal.

As with any turbo kit, cheap or expensive, ebay or not, installation is most important and so is the tuning...

I have a buddy running the SSAC special b series kit on his b18 and had been running it from sept 07 up until a few weeks ago when his motor let loose on him. All we had to do was rebrace the mani it ran fine, it blew a tiny bit of oil as on the ebay turbos they recommend running an oil retrictor as even garrett recommends to run on all turbos.

You wouldn't need to run an oil restrictor on a garrett if you're using a -3 AN line.

I have, and I can say they are hit or miss. Have you ran one?

The 57 trims are generally **** from my experience. I have blown up two of them with an oil restrictor and proper break-in.

Get a Garrett.

I'm running the "new style" ebay turbo .63 turbine .50 compressor. Currently i'm running 10 psi with 10:1 FMU on My H22 civic. So far so good. I take it day by day knowing full well what i got . So far trap speed is 115mph. So if you can't wait take your chance and roll the dice!

I'm not gonna tell you that ebay kits are awesome but I do have one on my car just for fun until my built setup is done. My numbers are in my sig. So far ive had zero problems and ive had it about a year. Just be prepared to port the hell outta the ssauto manis because the craftsmanship and flow definently sucks. Other than that my kit is holding up pretty strong and I still have zero shaftplay and no smoke under boost. People say they are hit or miss, but I guess I havent missed yet
